7 Day Trip - #Maldives

I have just returned from a 7 days trip to the northern atolls of #Maldives. We encountered several shoals of #bonefish. Despite numerous refusals the group did managed to land quite a few very nice sized bones. Dave Scott landed a 82 cm #Bluefin #Kingfish on 12-wt tackle at Rocktail Bay - the biggest of this species that I have ever seen. The next morning Andrew Blades landed a 97cm GT (18kg) at #Lala #Neek on a Hardy 9wt rod with 9kg tippet using a 4/0 baitfish fly. This is an unbelievable feat in our rock and surf zone.
